Dina Hirsch Ph. D. was senior psychologist at the Eating Disorders Center, Cohen Children’s Medical Center, Northwell Health (f/k/a North Shore-Long Island Jewish Medical Center) where she provided direct clinical services and supervised psychology trainees within inpatient and day eating disorder programs serving children, adolescents and young adults for almost a decade. She continues to specialize in the treatment of patients with eating disorders both in her private practice in Roslyn, NY and Northwell Health's Center for Weight Management. Additionally, she holds an academic appointment of Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Hofstra University School of Medicine. The professional accomplishment she takes most pride in is supervising and training hundreds of developing therapists since 2003. Dr. Hirsch’s career includes nearly 15 years of leadership, program development, and supervisory experience at Zucker Hillside Hospital, New York University Child Study Center, and Good Samaritan Hospital in CA. She has presented across the country and is an expert in adolescent mood and anxiety disorders, marital and family therapy, and the provision of CBT, DBT, and FBT treatments.
